Alternate Dispute Resolution Council (ADRC) is a legal platform comprising of many Judges serving at various levels of the judiciary, Social activists, as well as efficient and prominent Lawyers working to empower people with the power of law. An out of court settlements which are informal in nature helps the parties who are having a dispute to settle it.

They are faster, cheaper and provide privacy to the parties. ADRC provides options to the parties to settle their differences in a satisfactory manner. The Courts have been affected with the problems of large pendency of cases owing to large arrears causing backlog taking many years for the case to be decided.

Often the judgments are not satisfactory and cause inconveniences to both the parties. ADRC has been found to be the solution to the problems affecting the judicial system. ADRC mechanisms are been used effectively by Companies and other commercial establishments and have been encouraged by the Courts through Adalats.

Objectives

Alternate Dispute Resolution Council, New Delhi is one of the flagship initiatives for the reformation in governance started to protect the rights. In addition to age of Alternative Dispute Resolution, the Alternate Dispute Resolution Council (ADRC) is set to broaden boundaries beyond the horizon and deliver the future. ADRC is duly empanelled with the Ministry of Law & Justice, Government of India for providing Alternative Dispute Resolution services through Arbitration, Mediation and Conciliation online to Government Ministries, Departments, Organisations and Public Sector Undertakings.
ADRC is dedicated to provide a highly professional, efficient and state-of-the-art institutional environment for both online and offline resolution of all kinds of disputes in a time bound and cost effective manner. This initiative is backed up by our proven track record in the legal field for the provision of world-class institutional support as a neutral and independent venue for the conduct of Domestic and International Arbitration and other Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) proceedings.
This facility is a natural reflection of our ongoing commitment to the global ADR and IDR ecosystem and the stakeholders we serve as we remain dedicated to providing the best possible services and innovations in the industry, focusing on ADR, IDR and ODR, dispute avoidance and holistic dispute management. Formed pursuant to the resolution by the Government of India to make India a hub of International and Domestic Arbitration and other ADR methodologies, the ADRC is has dedicated itself to function as an independent ADR Institution. Given our mandate to serve the Nation and the Region and as an International Organization, ADRC aspires to grown from strength to strength aiming to become a niche ADR Council in the world, to take its rightful position.

The ADRC envisions signal of our continued passion to spearhead an era of development and expansion, both for the Council and the global ADR ecosystem. ADRC aspires to continue to be a provider of international-class institutional support as a neutral and independent venue for the conduct of Domestic and International Arbitrations, and other ADR proceedings.
Today, ADRC is the leading digital Arbitration Institution in India. It has its Affiliate Councils not only pan India, but also in Asia Pacific and Europe, handling hundreds of domestic and international arbitrations. ADRC also provides services of Expert Determination and Early Neutral Evaluation, as also education and training in alternative dispute resolution mechanisms through its Indian Institute of Arbitration – IIArb, Indian Institute of Mediation (IIMed) and Indian Institute of Dispute Resolution (IIDR).
